Our courtesy bus will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the Boat Club where you can enjoy a speciality coffee and snack in the air-conditioned Coffee Shop while you wait to board the morning tour or enjoy lunch in Sinbad’s Bistro before you depart for your afternoon tour with the Boat Club Whale Adventure.

Our purpose-built vessel is a large, fast, comfortable and modern twenty-metre catamaran. Extremely stable and spacious with three different viewing decks means you are assured of an unobstructed, 360 view of all marine life allowing you to enjoy your day watching the Whales and Dolphins.

Comfortable seating inside and out, as well as a completely enclosed cabin, allows for maximum comfort no matter what the weather.

With two Scania powered 350 HP engines and a cruising speed of 18 knots you won’t waste time travelling, so you have longer to spend with the whales.

Our professional crew will provide personalised service so you can sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking scenery of Fraser Island as you cruise into Platypus Bay in search of adventure, while our tour host provides you with informative commentary on your total marine experience with whales, dolphins, turtles and sea birds in the wild.

Then it’s all hands on deck to scan the seas for a flash or a splash, signalling the start of your awe-inspiring experience.

Watch the gentle giants of the sea spy-hop, tail slap and breach. Hold your breath while courting adults, around the vessel playing hide and seek. Experience an up-close and personal mugging as they move in to watch you, watching them.
