Hervey Bay has a warm summer and cool winter. In the summer months, visitors and locals alike, take to the waters of the Bay for swimming, parasailing, boating and fishing as well as skiing. Here in Hervey Bay the locals find the weather ‘perfect’ all year round as the cooler months from June to October are still relatively warm enough to still take to the beaches for some fun. If heading out on the water is more your thing, perhaps a half or full day trip on board one of the many chartered Whale Watching vessels that come into full swing around August through to November as the Humpback Whales hit our warm waters.
